Lexi's Graduation!!!

Lexi graduated at the end of May 4th in her class out of 278 students!  She will be attending Texas Tech University and majoring in exercise science and planning to go on to the physical therapy program.  She is such a beautiful, smart, and Godly young lady that I am proud to call my daughter!  She truly is a blessing to this family and will do great things in her future!  We love you Lexi!

Lawson 4 months

So, I have been REALLY behind on the blog and I apologize for those who follow it (mainly Alice Ann)! ;-) Four months for Lawson has come and gone, month 5 is almost over, and on the way to 6 months!  That is half a year old, people, seriously where did time go?!?!?!?!

Here are Lawson's 4 month stats:

WEIGHT: 16 pounds 90%
HEIGHT: 26 inches 90%

SLEEP:
Lawson definitely has different sleeping habits than Berklie did as an infant.  She was a night owl and slept late.  He usually goes down for the night between 8:30-9:30 and sleeps until 6:30-8:00.  This would be great if I actually went to bed at the same time, but I usually don't get to bed until 11:30 or midnight....so my fault on lack of sleep.  When he is tired he wants his momma and his bed.  He does not like being away or out and about around naps or bed time (unless we are in the car).  Which is also very different from Berklie.  She could have cared less.  She'd sleep anywhere and still does!  So, I am hoping that football season won't be too rough with him.  We shall see!  He takes a morning nap about an hour to two hours after he wakes up and sleep between 30 minutes to an hour .  Then he wakes and play time, lunch time, and ready for another mid day nap which last an hour and half to two hours.  Then another cat nap in the afternoon.

EATING:
He perfers to bottle feed, so I have been pumping and then using a bottle.  He takes about 4 ounces with his food for breakfast, lunch and dinner.  Then a six ounce before bed, and another 4-6 ounces sometime throughout the day (most the times in the morning and a little before naps.)  He loves carrots, green beans, squash, sweet potatoes, prunes, pears, apples, bananas, peaches, and avocado.   He does not care for sweet peas AT ALL!  I need to up load that video!

PLAY:
He loves to be held and played with by us all, especially Hailey.  He likes his play mat, but since getting more active he just scoots off it for fun.  Like his exersaucer a lot, too and of course...BERKLIE!

MILESTONES:
Lawson rolls over both ways consistently and scoots where he wants to go.  He is now on baby food and cereal.  Sits up with assistance, and loves to stand up while you have him in your lap.

Strawberry blonde hair (looks like it may turn dark) and blue eyes!  Sometimes his eyes look green to me, but I think they'll probably stay blue like Berklie's.

Needless to say....he is a BIG BOY!!!!  He is an absolute doll, and I can't imagine my life without him.  I unfortunately never got around to taking 4 month pics, so here are some of him throughout the month.

Lawson 3 months

I can't imagine my life without this little man in it!  He is such a joy as I am sure you will be able to tell  from this photo session.  I have a little chunk on my hands, and I can not get enough of his cheek kisses and fat little legs and belly!  He has reached many milestone and we are so proud of him.

Weight: 13 pounds
Length: 24 inches (guess-timate)
Sleep: Takes at least 3 naps during the day and still wakes up ready to play!   At night he sleeps an average of 7-9 hours!  I am so thankful he is a good sleeper...although he likes to go to bed early and wake up early.  Much unlike his night owl/late rising sister, Berklie Faith!  Maybe it will change as he gets older, but I seriously doubt it.  Needless to say, football season should be interesting this year. :-S

Eat: He nurses in the mornings before I go to work, then usually takes 3-4 (3 oz-5 oz) breast milk bottles while I am at work, then nurses 2-3 times once I get home.
Hair color:  BALD!  He has a little bit, but it is slowly falling out.
Eyes: Blue (sometimes they look green...so maybe...)
Important Milestones:
Sleeps through the night.
Is cutting teeth!!! (the K-9's...so we'll have a little vampire soon!)
Reaches and grabs for anything he can reach....especially momma and sister's hair and jewelry!
Enjoys sitting in his bumbo chair with tray and playing with his spinner toys.  I call him my little sous chef while cooking dinner, because he sits on the counter and watches me get dinner ready.
Rolls from his stomach to back easliy and has rolled from back to stomach but gets stuck and frustrated.  He's getting there.
Smiles all the time!  Especially at momma, daddy, and Berklie.
Is starting to have little giggles.  (Talk about MELT-YOUR-HEART!)

hOW CAN YOU NOT WANT TO KISS THIS FACE?!?!?!

My "serious" little man!

Love it!

Easter

This year we had a pretty low key Easter.  We took the girls and Lawson on Saturday to an Easter Egg hunt and Sara and Lucy were in town so they went with us, too!  I was so happy to get to spend time with them!   Everyone had a lot of fun and they all racked up on some eggs.  Then Sunday we all went to the Easter Service at church and headed out to Grandma and Grandpa's to have lunch and hunt some more eggs.  Over all a very relaxing weekend filled with family and being thankful to HIM for sacrificing for all of ours sins!
Egg hunt at church.

She was hesitant at first because another little girl had gotten in to some ants.

...But as you can see she got in to her groove!  Although she was VERY particular about which eggs she would get.  Only "girlie" colors, decorative ones....and green...because that's my favorite color!  :-)

All the girls with their lute!

Lawson's first Easter basket!

He will totally hate me for taking this picture in 15 years!

My sweeties!

After church.

All the kiddos except Justin.  He couldn't come in from Colorado. :-(

Egg hunt at gpa and gma's.

Finally got the little four wheeler fix for her to ride.  Danger is her middle name! ;-)

Add she's off!

Once again..."girlie" eggs. LoL!

That's all folks!

Brother missed out on the festivities...it was nap time.

Lawson's bucket that I painted.  It isn't the size I wanted, so if I find the size next year, he'll get a new one. It turned out  "ok"...wasn't too thrilled over it though.

Lawson 2 months....ALREADY?!?!

Weight: 11.5 pounds (50th percentile)
Length: 23 1/4 inches (50th percentile)
Sleep: Still sleeps a lot during the day, but wakes up ready to play!   At night he wakes about every 4-5 hours!  He's such a good sleeper.  Just wakes up, nurses, and goes right back to sleep!  Yay!
This boy still loves his sleep!
Eat: He nursers every 3-4 hours and takes breast milk bottles while I'm at work
Hair color:  Sort of a strawberry blonde and losing it
Eyes: Blue
Important Milestone: I went back to work when he was 6 weeks, so Melissa now comes to the house to watch Berklie and Lawson.  She is great!  She watched Berklie when she was little from 4 weeks until Berklie was 3!  He loves her and is a good little baby for her.  (Once again...a lot harder on momma to go back to work then it was for Lawson!) He now smiles and coos when he sees/hears people (attempts to mimic cooing noises we make at him, too) .  Smiles especially when he sees his Momma, Daddy, Berklie, and Melissa.   He has dimples on both cheeks, and it is one of my favorite things about him!!!!  They are ADORABLE on those chubby little cheekies!  He is beginning to reach and attempt to grab things.  In his bouncy seart he likes reaching for his toys and
wacking his hands on them.  He loves riding in the car, listening to Berklie sing to him, and lastly, he is a total momma's boy!  (No complaints here!) ;o)

So in love with this little chunk!

Such a little ham.

Getting tired of picture taking.

Now REALLY tired of picture taking!  :-)

Big sister keeping little brother company while he watches Baby Einstein.

Mesmerized by Baby Einstein!

Lawson 1 month

Little cutie!

I am EXTREMELY  late on getting this up, but I guess better late than never! :o)
In this picture my little tugboat is 1 month old.  I has grown so much from his little 7 lbs 11 oz in the hosiptal!  I love him more than I ever thought was possible and he is such a great baby!  Here are some milestones for his first month -

Weight: 9.3 pounds
Length: 20 inches
Sleep: he sleeps 20-22 hours a day and only awake in spurts of 15-30 minutes at a time!
This boy loves his sleep!
Eat: He nursers every 2-3 hours
Hair color:  Sort of a strawberry blonde
Eyes: Blue

Important Milestone: His first time away from momma and daddy happened early in his life.  Much too early for momma...he probably could have cared less!  I had to go back in the hospital about a week after I had him due to an infection.  I was in the hospital for three nights and 4 days without my little man and bitty girl!  It killed me!  But no worries, they were both well taken care of by their Mimi and Papa!  I was so glad to come home after 16 rounds of IV antibiotics, CT Scan, Doppler Scan, Multiple blood test, Flu test, and who knows what else!  Lawson sure was glad to see his momma, too! Thankfully my mom was able to stay with me for a week once I came home, and she was a LIFESAVER!  I am so blessed to have such wonderful parents!

Happy Valentine's xoxoxox

Happy Valentine's from the Bigham Bunch!  Our Valentine's was full of adventures to the doctor...yuck!  Lawson had a little cold, so I took him in before it turned to something more serious.  I would have hated for him to get HPV or the Flu!  All was good, only the sniffles....thank goodness.  Here are some Valentine's pictures that I took of the kiddos together.  Enjoy!
Look at these to cutie-pa-tooties!

Happy Valentine's Day!
