Bitty Girl and Chunk meet!

Berklie got to meet all of her cousins on my side a couple of weeks ago. It was a family affair at Mi-mi and Pa-pa's house for Vickie's 40th birthday. There was a lot of laughing, eating, talking about memories we have made, and about memories we are about to make with all the little ones. We all have such a great time when we get together and it makes me so thankful that God has blessed me into such an amazing family! I am truly grateful everyday for all of them! Now,God has blessed me with Flint and Berklie, too - it can't get much better than that!

So, this is our adorable little man Brayden a.k.a Chunk by his Pa-pa. He is the cutest thing ever - well he ranks up there with Berklie! He is an absolute doll!

Berklie and Brayden together - he is 3 months older than her. It was hilarious, because when Berklie would cry, Brayden would look at her then us with a look of "What are you doing to her? Stop it!" It was too cute!

This is them again, I think Bitty Girl is trying to show off her GIANT feet.

This one is so funny! It looks like Berklie is asking, "Hey, what do you think about this family?" Brayden replies, "Yeah, I think they're pretty cool."

Sugar-Baby had to get in on the action. She thought Berklie was really something!

Newborn pictures!

So, we had some fun last night taking Berklie's newborn pictures! At first she was not cooperative at all, but then she started to have fun and eventually fell asleep which made it much easier! I am grateful to have my degree in photography - it saves a TON of money which we can use to spoil her, and not to mention I have a blast doing it! Berklie helps me out, too. When I work on her pictures on the computer she loves sitting with me. Needless to say, I have learned to do a lot of things one handed - cleaning, putting on make-up, doing my hair, eating, typing, the list could go on forever! It is every thing that I could ever wish for though!

Here is a full body shot - it is a little out of focus because she started moving! She has a little smile though!

A profile shot - I think this is the only time she really looks like me. She was looking at Justin and he was playing with her - that is why she is smiling.

She always looks so serious. It cracks us up!

Since Berklie has arrived it has been a whirl wind! My senses have been coming back to me - since she does sleep well at night. Therefore the lack of sleep has been a ton better than the first week she was home. My sister-in-law said that the first week was "hell week" and I totally believe her now! Berklie was great, it was just that her sleep cycle was off! Now she is doing great and letting mommy and daddy get enough rest to function on for the day.

We found a lady to keep her, so that is a lot of stress that we don't have to deal with anymore. The lady keeps some of the other coaches kids, so she should have lots of fun once she gets a little older.

Berklie went to the doctor on Tuesday and she has grown in length and weight! She now is 20 1/4 inches long and weighs 7 pounds and 12 ounces. So she is doing quite well! I knew she had been gaining weight because her cheeks just keep getting chubbier! She did get ticked off when they pricked her foot though! I don't think it hurt so much, but she hates people holding her down, especially her legs. Barbara went with us, and she teared up - although I just laughed trying not to! She goes back in September for her two month check up. I think her daddy might take her to that one, because she gets a ton of shots! I hate seeing her in pain!

Enough rambling from me - now for the pictures. I just get out the camera and start shooting - she is already a camera ham!

Living it up!

This must be the life! Here Berklie is living it up at 15 days old! I know it is the mommy in me - but I think she is pretty darn cute! ;-)

This is the way she ends up most of the time - it is just usually right between Flint and I! I know, I know - once you start she will never leave!
