We are back from our vacation! Flint's parents took all of the families (ours and his brother's) on a 7 day vacation to Florida to go to Walt Disney World. So, I have secretly wanted to go to WDW ever since I can remember! I was so excited and so were all the kids and Flint...well, Flint was a little. He is a homebody, but once he got there he had a lot of fun. We went to all the different parks - day 1 we went to Epcot, 2 to Magic Kingdom, 3 to Hollywood Studios, 4 to Animal Kingdom, day 5 back to Epcot (this is the day the Flint and I took Hailey and Berklie to have lunch with the princesses), and day 6 we all loaded up to make the drive to Cocoa Beach. Each day we would ask Berklie where she wanted to go and she would say to see Mickey Mouse. She loves Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, so she knew a lot of the characters at the parks. It truly is one of the happiest places on earth! I felt like a little kids again! I would love to go back when she gets older and can get into it a little more. I think everyone had a great time, but I think everyone was also ready to get home. It was a once and a life time experience and I am grateful that we all got to share it together! Thanks Grandpa and Grandma for taking us all - it was a blast! There are a lot of pictures to document our trip, so enjoy!
Bitty Girl on her first airplane ride!
I flight over. I thought was was a pretty neat pic....hummmm....maybe I should try to sell it to Southwest.
Berklie fell asleep on the flight. She had her own seat going to San Antonio, then had to lap seat from San Antonio to Florida.
It wasn't too bad though.
Daisy was the first character that Berklie got to see.
She loved her! Walked right up to her and gave her a hug.
Then I took her over to see Pooh and Tigger and she freaked out!
I went in and saw this with Berklie, Hailey and Catherine, and it was so cute! This was the first 3D movie that Berklie has seen and she was so cute. She tried to reach out and touch the characters.
Us with Berklie in the Honey, I Shrunk the Kids playground at Hollywood Studios.
It was a really cool little place for her to be able to play for a bit.
Hailey and Catherine really enjoyed it too.
Talk about no fear! This slide was huge! She walked up the stairs by herself, and then slid down.
Crazy little girlie!
Waiting in line to see the worse thing ever. Totally not worth the long and hot wait! Oh well, live and learn.
She did not like the cravings in the rock, and of course Justin just had to take her near them.
Look at her pulling his hair :P
Berklie with her Bubba in a show that was 4D about bugs.
Needless to say, she was not having that either. At least she looked cute!
This was a worker at one of the stores. She let Berklie is the figment character that she was holding, and she made a friend in Berklie. The girl ended up giving her a Tinkerbell pin. Berklie gave her a hug and said thank you! It was priceless.
The kiddos with Mary Poppins!
She was the character that I really wanted to see. We were walking in Epcot through the United Kingdom and I looked over and saw her! Awesome! She was going on break, but we were the first ones to see her when she got back. We waited about 20 minutes for her.
When we first got the the lunch with the princesses, the girls got a picture with Belle. Then our waitress brought the pictures over to the girls and told them it was a gift from Belle. It was cute!
The girls with Ariel from the Little Mermaid.
(She looked a little freaky to me. I think it's her eyes.)
We waited 30 minutes for the girls to see Alice.
She picked Hailey a flower to give to her.
As you can tell, Berklie was very eager to get Alice's autograph.
Is this not the cutest picture?
