6 month catch up!

Six months have flown by and on to seven months....so this is a catch up of month 6!  This little guy still has my heart like no other and hit a lot of milestones in the sixth month!

Here are Lawson's 6 month stats:

WEIGHT: 19 pounds 75%
HEIGHT: 27 inches 75-90%

SLEEP:
Still sleeping through the night, but sometimes wakes up for his paci.  Once he has it, he goes back to sleep.  Usually goes down between 8:30-9:30 and wakes up between 6:30-8:30.  Still take 3 naps during the day.  One short morning and afternoon nap then about a two 1.5-2.5 hour nap mid day.

EATING:
Hasn't been nursing as much, because we have been so BUSY!  I still pumped, and he had breastmilk and usually one - two formula bottles throughout the day.  takes anywhere from 5-7 ounces at each bottle.  He loves his baby food, especially fruit, green beans, and mac-n-cheese w/ veggies.

PLAY:
Has really come to enjoy playing with Berklie.  Follows her around everywhere and gets in to ANYTHING he can!!! Likes playing with paper, boxes, and his light up star stacker.

MILESTONES:
He is started crawling and has NOT stopped!  Shortly after he started crawling, he started pulling up on EVERYTHING!  This little guy is super strong especially in his upper body.  At the end of 5 months and beginning of the 6th he got two teeth.  Both of his bottom ones are in!  This guy is a screamer!  Love him to pieces, but this drives Flint and me CRAZY!  He normally does it if his food doesn't come fast enough, or if he wants some attention.  He really likes to do it in restaurants, which is not acceptable!  Needless to say....we are working on that!

His hair has turned to completely  blonde hair and blue eyes! He is getting more hair, and once again has much more than Berklie ever did at this age.

Here are some cute little pictures from July 4th/6 month shoot.

What? Five Months?

Five months have flown by and this little guy has my heart like no other!  He is quite the little charmer when it comes to his momma and his Mimi!  How can you not love those little fat cheeks and beautiful eyes and smile?!?!?!

Here are Lawson's 5 month stats:

WEIGHT: 19 pounds by our scales
HEIGHT: Probably around 27 inches

SLEEP:
Still sleeping the same as he did at four months.  Sometimes even better!  We had to move him back in to our room because Justin is home from college, so I think Lawson sleeps more in peace when he is closer to us.  We have to have the sound machine on high to drown out Daddy's snoring though...lol!

EATING:
Same as four months, but has come to like nursing again.  Probably because I am home more and offering it more often than a bottle.  He still take both though.

PLAY:
We bought a new bouncy for him, the safari kind.  He loves JUMPY in that thing and gets going pretty good sometimes.  Loves laughing at Hailey and Berklie being silly.  Loves to have me sing to him, that is how I get him to sleep some nights.  Loves to play peek-a-boo, tickle monster, and patty cake with momma and daddy!

MILESTONES:
He is starting to get on all fours!  We are in trouble!!!! He goes to take off and falls to his belly.  That happens a few times, and then he gets upset.  Then he proceeds to scoot...hey whatever works, right?!?!?!

He still has strawberry blonde hair and blue eyes! He is getting more hair, and has much more than Berklie ever did at this age.

He is getting such a little personality and can throw a fit like no other!  Especially throws one if his food does come fast enough...lol!  I love him to pieces just the way he is!

Here are a few quick takes after dinner one night, so please excuse the food left on his face...lol!
My sweet, sweet, sweet Bitty Boy!

Lawson 4 months

So, I have been REALLY behind on the blog and I apologize for those who follow it (mainly Alice Ann)! ;-) Four months for Lawson has come and gone, month 5 is almost over, and on the way to 6 months!  That is half a year old, people, seriously where did time go?!?!?!?!

Here are Lawson's 4 month stats:

WEIGHT: 16 pounds 90%
HEIGHT: 26 inches 90%

SLEEP:
Lawson definitely has different sleeping habits than Berklie did as an infant.  She was a night owl and slept late.  He usually goes down for the night between 8:30-9:30 and sleeps until 6:30-8:00.  This would be great if I actually went to bed at the same time, but I usually don't get to bed until 11:30 or midnight....so my fault on lack of sleep.  When he is tired he wants his momma and his bed.  He does not like being away or out and about around naps or bed time (unless we are in the car).  Which is also very different from Berklie.  She could have cared less.  She'd sleep anywhere and still does!  So, I am hoping that football season won't be too rough with him.  We shall see!  He takes a morning nap about an hour to two hours after he wakes up and sleep between 30 minutes to an hour .  Then he wakes and play time, lunch time, and ready for another mid day nap which last an hour and half to two hours.  Then another cat nap in the afternoon.

EATING:
He perfers to bottle feed, so I have been pumping and then using a bottle.  He takes about 4 ounces with his food for breakfast, lunch and dinner.  Then a six ounce before bed, and another 4-6 ounces sometime throughout the day (most the times in the morning and a little before naps.)  He loves carrots, green beans, squash, sweet potatoes, prunes, pears, apples, bananas, peaches, and avocado.   He does not care for sweet peas AT ALL!  I need to up load that video!

PLAY:
He loves to be held and played with by us all, especially Hailey.  He likes his play mat, but since getting more active he just scoots off it for fun.  Like his exersaucer a lot, too and of course...BERKLIE!

MILESTONES:
Lawson rolls over both ways consistently and scoots where he wants to go.  He is now on baby food and cereal.  Sits up with assistance, and loves to stand up while you have him in your lap.

Strawberry blonde hair (looks like it may turn dark) and blue eyes!  Sometimes his eyes look green to me, but I think they'll probably stay blue like Berklie's.

Needless to say....he is a BIG BOY!!!!  He is an absolute doll, and I can't imagine my life without him.  I unfortunately never got around to taking 4 month pics, so here are some of him throughout the month.

Lawson 3 months

I can't imagine my life without this little man in it!  He is such a joy as I am sure you will be able to tell  from this photo session.  I have a little chunk on my hands, and I can not get enough of his cheek kisses and fat little legs and belly!  He has reached many milestone and we are so proud of him.

Weight: 13 pounds
Length: 24 inches (guess-timate)
Sleep: Takes at least 3 naps during the day and still wakes up ready to play!   At night he sleeps an average of 7-9 hours!  I am so thankful he is a good sleeper...although he likes to go to bed early and wake up early.  Much unlike his night owl/late rising sister, Berklie Faith!  Maybe it will change as he gets older, but I seriously doubt it.  Needless to say, football season should be interesting this year. :-S

Eat: He nurses in the mornings before I go to work, then usually takes 3-4 (3 oz-5 oz) breast milk bottles while I am at work, then nurses 2-3 times once I get home.
Hair color:  BALD!  He has a little bit, but it is slowly falling out.
Eyes: Blue (sometimes they look green...so maybe...)
Important Milestones:
Sleeps through the night.
Is cutting teeth!!! (the K-9's...so we'll have a little vampire soon!)
Reaches and grabs for anything he can reach....especially momma and sister's hair and jewelry!
Enjoys sitting in his bumbo chair with tray and playing with his spinner toys.  I call him my little sous chef while cooking dinner, because he sits on the counter and watches me get dinner ready.
Rolls from his stomach to back easliy and has rolled from back to stomach but gets stuck and frustrated.  He's getting there.
Smiles all the time!  Especially at momma, daddy, and Berklie.
Is starting to have little giggles.  (Talk about MELT-YOUR-HEART!)

hOW CAN YOU NOT WANT TO KISS THIS FACE?!?!?!

My "serious" little man!

Love it!

Easter

This year we had a pretty low key Easter.  We took the girls and Lawson on Saturday to an Easter Egg hunt and Sara and Lucy were in town so they went with us, too!  I was so happy to get to spend time with them!   Everyone had a lot of fun and they all racked up on some eggs.  Then Sunday we all went to the Easter Service at church and headed out to Grandma and Grandpa's to have lunch and hunt some more eggs.  Over all a very relaxing weekend filled with family and being thankful to HIM for sacrificing for all of ours sins!
Egg hunt at church.

She was hesitant at first because another little girl had gotten in to some ants.

...But as you can see she got in to her groove!  Although she was VERY particular about which eggs she would get.  Only "girlie" colors, decorative ones....and green...because that's my favorite color!  :-)

All the girls with their lute!

One of my bestest of friends, Sara and my God Daughter Lucy.

Lawson's first Easter basket!

He will totally hate me for taking this picture in 15 years!

My sweeties!

After church.

All the kiddos except Justin.  He couldn't come in from Colorado. :-(

Lexi with little brother.

Egg hunt at gpa and gma's.

Finally got the little four wheeler fix for her to ride.  Danger is her middle name! ;-)

Add she's off!

Once again..."girlie" eggs. LoL!

That's all folks!

Brother missed out on the festivities...it was nap time.

Lawson's bucket that I painted.  It isn't the size I wanted, so if I find the size next year, he'll get a new one. It turned out  "ok"...wasn't too thrilled over it though.
