Swimmin' in the swimmin' pool!

I went yesterday after school and got Berklie a pool for the backyard. We have the big pool in the community, but I thought this would be good just to splash around in. She had a great time and really enjoyed herself. I think it might have been a little too cold for her, but maybe today it will warm up. Talk to you all soon! Enjoy!
Wanting to go in!

Please just let me in!

This is pretty nice.

Weeee!

This is so much fun, ma'am!

This is kinda cool.

Hummm, I wonder what this does?"

Wow!

Splish - Splash!

"Awesome!"

"Hello, friend!"

"Hey, Bubba, watch this!"

"Hummmm, this looks interesting."

"Cool beans!"

"What are you guys doing over there?"

"Look at me!"

Attack of The Berklie!

"Tasty!"

" This grass is pretty neat. I might have to eat some."

Look at those lashes!

These next few of her on her way out of the pool. It was cute! She loves just being outside and playing. I guess it comes from all of her adventures to football, baseball, parties, etc. since she was 2 weeks old!

How cute is this? She just needed a cute drink - not to mention she is teething so she tries to chew on EVERYTHING!

Hot Dogs! YUMMIE!

She is definitely apart of the Heckathorn Family....she loves hot dogs! My Grandma would have been so proud! The other day when the kids were here we ate hot dogs for lunch and Berklie had one too. Hold the chili and the cheese, just the dog please.!.!.! I cut it up into little bits of fourths and off she went. It was so cute! She absolutely loved it and quickly gobbled all the little pieces up.

Yes, I know...she is still in her pj's at lunch, but she didn't wake up until 10! It was so nice!

"YUM!"

"Man, mama, I love these things!"

Big sis Hailey helping her out.

"Can I have some more please?"

So behind!

I can certainly tell it is the end of the year by how behind on everything I am. So, to catch you all up all things here are some "somewhat" (within the month) new pics of Berklie and of Braughn and Hailey's awards ceremony at school.

Braughn got the award for having "A's" all year long

This is Berklie's new thing. She sticks out her tongue and says, "La-la-la-la...."
It is really pretty darn cute!

Berklie with her Bubba.

On Daddy's shoulders.

Crying because she was mad at her toy.

Doesn't she look like such the little lady?!?!?!

Watch her go!

Berklie has been cruising for the longest time now, and stands by herself all the time, but she will not take off! If you just give her a little pinkie to hold onto for security, she is fine and will walk all over the place. So, Flint said she needed a push toy, and I agreed. I went to Babies-R-Us last night with Barbara and Robert, and amongst other things we left with a push toy! It is so cute! I put it together for her today and of course she did what I knew she would do - she TOOK OFF! Below are two videos that shows her in action! One is right after the bath (this explains the birthday attire), and yes I KNOW that she will hate me for this later - but it is soooooo cute!

Mother's Day Bliss

Well, my first Mother's Day was wonderful and certainly one that I will NEVER forget! We woke up that morning got Berklie in bed with us and played for about an hour. Then we got up fed her breakfast, Flint did the yard, while I cleaned and did laundry, and Berklie took a nap. Throughout the day, I got sweet Happy Mother's Day messages from the kids, friends, co-workers, and the PALs kids. Next, we went shopping and out to dinner, and after that we met the rest of the kids for ice cream. My wonderful husband and my beautiful bitty girl gave me a treat to the spa for a mani and pedi! Let's just say that they could not have given me a better present! I am in dire need of both! Where does time and money go when your a mommy?!?!?! Oh yes.....I forgot.....to BABY! Which there is no better place, for it to go! So we ended out night at home putting Berklie to sleep and me once again thinking God for everything that he has blessed me with! Granted, my day might not seem like much to most people, but it honestly was one of the most perfect, memorable, and important days of my life. It was my FIRST MOTHER"S DAY! I wanted to get a picture of Berklie and I together, but right after I laid her down that (of course) is when I remembered we hadn't taken one yet. So, Flint said he would take it the next day.....still no picture......this has been the absolute busiest week of the entire school year for us! So, instead of a picture of me and my Berklie, here are some of the pictures that I gave to my mom for her Mother's Day gift! I love them!
